Sussex Prairie Gardens, Henfield Sunday 14 August 2022.

On one of the hottest days this year 31 SexMoggers in 12 Morgans visited these wonderful Prairie Gardens established and run by Pauline and Paul McBride along the lines of the American Prairie Gardens. For some it was their second visit. Pauline gave a very animated and humorous talk on how the gardens started, how they took cuttings from the plants they were working with in the gardens in Luxembourg and how armies of friends helped them plant 30000 cuttings in exchange for food and drink in a party atmosphere.  Obviously with the dry and hot weather they were having a battle to keep the gardens watered but the gardens were still looking spectacular. On site was also an Indian Bazaar, also serving curries, which many people tried out and enjoyed.
