You can expect a lovely Christmas lunch at the Oak Barn. Details and a menu have been circulated on the email ring but is shown again below. Booked by Jeff Deere.

Attached is the Christmas menu and would like members who have registered to make their choices and send this information to me by Friday November 8th.

The cost of the lunch is £39.95 per person and members have already paid a deposit of £10.00. We will need to collect the remaining balance of £29.95 per person by the 6th December. Please pay directly into our Brighton Morgan Bank Account:

Funds for staff tips have already been received and this will be settled on the day by the Morgan Social Team. Payment for bar drinks, wine and teas / coffee are not included in this price and must be paid at the point of purchase. Please note that the price is for the set menu and cannot be changed if you want fewer courses.
Please arrive at 12 noon on the day and have a drink at the bar ( please remember to pay and not add to the Morgan account). We will sit down at 12.30 on three tables where place names and menu choices will be set out. Jann Robinson our MSCC chairwoman will be joining us and will say a few words about her role.  At 12.45 staff will start to serve lunch.
Please keep to the menu and payment dates to ease administration and payments to the Oak Barn.
There is plenty of free parking and we hope you will find the venue very welcoming and festive. If anyone wants a quick round of Golf before or after lunch then they are most welcome !!!!.

Roasted Root Vegetable Soup (v)
With vegetable crisps & artisan baguette

Brie & Cranberry Tartlet (v)
With mixed leaves & balsamic dressing

Smoked Salmon Roulade
Rolled with cream cheese & chive, served with brown bread, lemon dressed mixed leaves & lemon & dill gel

Brandied Chicken Liver Pate
Served with toasted bread, red onion marmalade & port gel

Prawn & Avocado Stack
Served with mixed leaves, lemon dressing, lemon gel, avocado mousse & brown bread

Sautéed Wild Mushrooms (v)

With pork, sage & onion stuffing, Yorkshire pudding, crackling, apple puree & rich gravy

Slow Cooked Lamb Shank
Served with mashed potato, honey glazed carrot & parsnip, sweet potato puree & redcurrant jus

Herb Crusted Haddock
With crushed new potatoes, herb oil & a herb butter sauce

 Roasted Squash & Chestnut Mushroom Nut Loaf (v)
With roasted new potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, gravy & sprouts with caramelised onion
