This was a departure from our usual Sunday Noggins and as such was a great success. It was organised by David and Marilyn Neary and Geoff Roberts. 39 Sexmoggers lunched at The Bent Arms, upstairs in their function room, with tables set out in a U shape . It was good to see new members who were immediately made welcome and within a few minutes of the lunch starting at 1 pm the noise level in the room was rising rapidly as people met up with old friends they had not seen for almost 18 months and conversed with new members.
Marilyn had prepared a spread sheet of all the 39 menu choices which had been given to the pub in advance and the staff did an excellent job of serving the food without any delays.
Geoff had organised the treasure hunt walk through the village and the questions were challenging and at the same time allowed people to see the main features of this lovely historic village.
The sunny weather really helped the enjoyment of the day.
