Sexmog visit to Duxford

I’m tentatively planning a group visit to The Imperial War Museum at Duxford aerodrome in March 2025 and wish to see how many of you might be interested.

I’m looking at three nights bed and breakfast at the cheaper end of the market: Holiday Inn, Premier Inn, Travelodge etc. where prices are in the range  £64 to £97 per couple per night.

On top of this would be the cost of the three evening meals, perhaps at a nearby pub, and the entry to Duxford £27 adult £24 OAP

I’ve tried traditional pubs and conventional family-run hotels but they’re all either too expensive, have too few bedrooms or are already booked!

My plan is for us to visit Duxford on first day and then make our own arrangements for the next day. Cambridge and its many museums are close by, as is Shepreth Wildlife Park, Audley End English Heritage, Fowlmere Reserve RSPB

The dates I have in mind are:

Arrive pm on Tues 18^th March, evening meal, bed.

Wed 19^th March breakfast , Duxford, evening meal, bed

Thu 20^th March breakfast , other attraction, evening meal, bed

Frid 21^st March. Breakfast .Depart

For the moment I just need to know a general level of interest to see if the trip is viable.
